If those products are used, then they must be sourced responsibly. That’s why we are members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an international not-for-profit organization that represents all aspects of the palm oil industry.
All six Lubrizol Life Science manufacturing sites that use PMO and/or PKOD have received Mass Balance Certification under RSPO standards, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable palm oil production and trading in RSPO-certified palm oil.
LLS Beauty products derived from palm and palm kernel oils with RSPO Mass Balance Certification include: Hydramol™ esters, Schercomid™ monoalkanolamides, Schercemol™ esters, Schercodine™ amido-amines, Schercozoline™ imidazoline, SilSense™ silicones, Glucam™ humectants, Glucate™ emulsifiers, Glucamate™ thickeners and Promulgen™ emulsifiers. We can expand these offerings to include other pertinent products upon request.
