A 100% Active Polymeric Dispersant for Advanced Ceramics formulations

Solsperse™ AC5145 is a 100% active polymeric dispersant that offers significant technical advantages in a range of ceramic processing methods, including tape casting, slip casting, gel casting, and additive manufacturing. Typical applications include the dispersion of ceramic powder and filler slurries in water, polar organic solvents or UV monomers. The Solsperse™ AC5145 should be dissolved in the slurry solvent/monomer/oligomer before the addition of ceramic solids. Solsperse™ AC5145 can be added at the dispersion stage or as a post-addition to make up high-solids slurries. Additional levels should be based on the surface area of the ceramic / filler. The dosage level is typically 2mg active dispersant per meter squared of ceramic filler surface area. This is simply the surface area divided by 5.
