Self-Crosslinking Urethane-Acrylic Hybrid Dispersion

Sancure™ AU-4050 is a waterborne one component self-crosslinking aliphatic polyurethane-acrylic hybrid dispersion designed primarily for clear wood finishes. Sancure™ AU-4050 dispersion was engineered with proprietary Lubrizol technology to provide performance properties on par with externally crosslinked systems. Sancure™ AU-4050 dispersion provides rapid hardness development, mar, scuff and black heel mark resistance. Sancure™ AU-4050 dispersion is also compatible with external crosslinkers, such as polyfunctional aziridine, isocyanate and carbodiimide. This additional crosslinking can be utilized for those applications requiring higher levels of performance. Clear finishes produced with Sancure™ AU-4050 dispersion exhibit a good balance of flow, leveling, defoaming and drying rate. The water white color and excellent clarity make this material suitable for use over white and pastel stains or basecoats.
