Solsperse™ AC5110  

An APE-Free polymeric dispersant in water designed for Advanced Ceramics formulations

Solsperse™ AC5110 is a 40% solids active polymeric dispersant in water, which offers significant technical advantages in a range of ceramic processing methods, including tape casting, slip casting, and gel casting. Typical applications are electronic ceramics (ceramics in electronics), advanced engineered ceramics, and where superior dispersions of ceramic particles in water are required. Solsperse™ AC5110 should be thoroughly blended with the water and binder mixture before the addition of ceramic/filler solids. Addition levels should be based on the surface area of the ceramic / filler. The dosage level is typically 1.66 mg active dispersant per square meter of ceramic filler surface area. This is simply the surface area divided by 6. A ladder series based around this theoretical dose is recommended to optimize performance.
