LancoTM 1380 F is a micronized wax with a high melting range and excellent toughness. In liquid coatings the use of Lanco 1380 F shows a high hardness in combination with matting efficiency and an especially good burnishing resistance. Because it contains no halogens, Lanco 1380 F can also be employed in areas where PTFE/PE waxes cannot be used. In powder coatings Lanco 1380 F leads to excellent degassing and reduces pin holes. Due to its composition Lanco 1380 F can also be used as degassing agent for critical substrates such as zinc coated or hot dipped galvanized steel. Lanco 1380 F is suitable for use in eco-label paints and coatings.
