Hycar^® 26951   Acrylic Emulsion

Hard, Self-crosslinking, Formaldehyde-Free, APEO-Free acrylic latex

Hycar^® 26951 is a formaldehyde-free and APE-free self-crosslinking acrylic co-polymer supplied in water. Hycar 26951 resin provides excellent dry, hot-dry tensile properties without the formaldehyde emissions found in traditional acrylic based systems. The polymer exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of plastic and low energy substrates giving the desired performance at low drying and curing temperatures. Hycar 26951 is suggested for use as a binder for glass fiber filter media and construction mats.
