Carboset^® CR-735 is a thermoplastic acrylic copolymer emulsion designed to provide an excellent balance of gloss, adhesion, and chemical resistance properties to wood finishes. Carboset^® CR-735 based lacquers exhibit excellent gloss readings at both 60° and 20°. This high gloss ability can be used to develop lacquers that appear much more “alkyd-like” than other emulsion-based finishes. Finished paints provide good overall properties of block resistance, hot pan & hot print resistance, gloss and color retention, and general chemical and stain resistance. Carboset^® CR-735 resin can also be formulated to provide very good application properties, such as flow and leveling, for good brush-ability and spray applications. Carboset^® CR-735 is also an APEO free product. Carboset^® CR-735 resin is readily coalesced with traditionally used glycol ethers and is recommended for factory applied or DIY wood topcoat, primer, and sanding-sealer applications.
