Carboset^® 7722 APEO-free emulsion is a versatile acrylic binder designed for <150 g/l VOC (US) interior/exterior semi-gloss, high-gloss, satin, and flat latex enamels where high performance is needed for scrub resistance, early development of wet alkyd adhesion and block resistance. Low VOC multi-use primer formulations using Carboset 7722 emulsion demonstrate excellent stain blocking and adhesion to glossy substrates, such as glass, galvanized metals and ceramic tiles. Carboset 7722 emulsion is easy to formulate due to good compatibility with dry or slurry grades of titanium dioxide, various rheology modifiers and other additives. Utilizing Carboset 7722 emulsion as a blending resin can also enhance scrub, block and adhesion performance properties of conventional vinyl emulsion paints.
