Carbobond™ 3009 is a hydrophobic polymer with balanced toughness-stiffness properties. It has good chemical resistance and water resistance. Due to its low MFFT, it film-forms easily at room temperature. Carbobond™ 3009 is also heat sealable with broad FDA clearance. Typical applications include water-resistant & oil resistant paper coatings, nonwoven & pigment binders, paper saturation & coatings and adhesives.
