Amidex™ LIPA surfactant is a naturally derived viscosity builder, foam enhancer and stabilizer. It is used in shower gels, shampoos, hand soaps, skin cleansers and other cleansing products when a tight, dense, luxurious foam is desired. Amidex™ LIPA surfactant can replace DEA amides and MEA amides at a 75% use level.

Recommended Use level: Recommended use level is 0.5 to 3.0 wt% as supplied as a secondary surfactant

  • Coconut diethanolamide and coconut monoethanolamide formulating alternative
  • Compatible with anionic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants
  • Diethanolamine is not known or expected to be present in this product
  • Ester ratios optimized to provide excellent formulation clarity

  • Stable foaming properties within a pH range of 5-12
