For more than half a century, Lubrizol Japan Limited has been conducting business focusing on customers, backed by a global network. Lubrizol Japan was founded in 1959 and provides Japanese industries with innovative technology from The Lubrizol Corporation.

Our Kinuura facility is the major supply chain terminal of additive packages and viscosity modifiers for Japanese customers and where we process all customer orders for both Lubrizol Additives and Lubrizol Advanced Materials. We are also engaged in product development of mainly engine oil additives and driveline additives focusing on the customers in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. The testing samples prepared by our blending labs are evaluated by testing equipment such as engine test stands and various friction testers. 

Our Tokyo office is the headquarters for three Lubrizol Japan Limited facilities as well as the focal point for sales and technical service for Additives and Advanced Materials in this region. Close communication with our customers from this office enables us to provide them innovative products and service.

Our Osaka office supports Lubrizol’s Performance Coatings business and is the sales focal point for coatings products in this region.

Community Relations

The Lubrizol Corporation is committed to being a good corporate citizen in all of the communities in which we live and work. Kinuura is active in community programs and participates in local events. Additionally, we provide charitable support for schools and local community events. The following are examples of community programs and events in which we are active:

• Hosting “Workplace Learning through Experience," a Taketoyo town program to provide local students with working experience
• Donation of food for “Food Drive” through the town office
• Participation in the New Year’s parade of fire fighters
