Belford Roxo

The Belford Roxo plant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, produces additives for lubricant oil, surfactants, and polymers for personal and home care and grease for special applications.

We manufacture a broad range of specialty ingredients that drive key consumer product claims and help our customers win in the marketplace. Our products impart physical properties, enhance functional performance and deliver special properties in a wide variety of applications, such as: Lubricants, fuels additives, hair care, skin care and surface care.

Community Relations

Our Belford Roxo plant annually sponsors the social project “FLUIR” with the local university. The objective is to help disadvantaged children of the area, integrating them through educational activities, sports and recreation. Target Population: Disadvantaged children from 8 to 15 years old from the surrounding area (100 children per year).

We sponsor social projects based on cultural activities through the public schools in the region, located each year at a different public school working with children from 8 to 13 years old (50-100 kids per year total).

Safety is our top priority at our Belford Roxo plant—nothing is more important. We focus and invest in process safety, maintenance plans and work environment improvements.
