Carbopol® BioSense polymer is a naturally derived rheology modifier and sensory enhancer suitable for formulating from serums to lotions and light creams and offers the possibility to replace silicone elastomers. It seamlessly integrates an exceptional sensory performance delivering a rich and soft synthetic-like feel with absence of stickiness and peeling improving the undesired sensorial of natural gums. Suitable for Skin Care & Sun Care.

  • Capable of emulsifying 5-25% oil phase
  • Good compatibility with organic UV Filters and low amounts of Zinc Oxide
  • In synergy with different materials, enables the creation of low to medium viscosity formulations for skin and sun care (500-15,000 mPa-s)
  • O/W emulsions over a wide pH range of 3-9
  • Possible substitute for silicone elastomers
  • Rich creamy feel in formulated product
