This simple ethoxylated-free SPF 30 sun care lotion features very good water resistance for best performance. Extremely easy to disperse, Pemulen™ EZ-4U polymer allows this cold process formulation to be prepared within a few minutes. Imparting effective stabilization at low use levels, Pemulen™ EZ-4U polymer forms a light texture which breaks quickly on skin with a light initial touch. Its very low surface activity and ability to stabilize the system without the need of additional co-emulsifiers prevent re-emulsification, which contributes to water-resistance. Formulation with minimal use level of co-emulsifiers also limits unpleasant whitening effects on wet skin, and ensures a more uniform deposition of the UV filters film on skin.
