Lubrizol Introduces New Jettable Resin for Digital Printing

CLEVELAND, Ohio — As part of its continued dedication to polymer technology innovation, Lubrizol, a global specialty chemical leader, announces the availability of a new resin that enables the formulation of advanced jettable primers for digital printing applications.

PrintRite™ DP 379 dispersion is a non-ionic, water-borne polyurethane dispersion, designed as a hydrophilic polymer with enhanced moisture vapor transmission, good absorbency of water, and compatibility with a variety of coating additives.

As a low particle size dispersion, it is an exciting new resin consideration for jettable primers and inks. Compliant to the Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21 and EU No 10/2011, it is suited for applications in food packaging as an ink binder and/or print receptive coatings.
