The DreamBall is the beauty industry’s philanthropic event of the year where the BeautyCares team honors industry leaders and advocates in support of the Look Good Feel Better program. Tolin was recognized alongside leaders from Christian Dior and Combe Incorporated, as well as cancer survivor advocates.
“To be recognized as an honoree by this organization is very humbling,” said Tolin. “I am so appreciative to have been able to participate and contribute to this noble cause. When I was first introduced to the concept of Look Good Feel Better, I could not stop thinking about how powerful of a gift this was to help people look and feel their best during such an important time in their cancer journey.”
Since its inception in 1989, Look Good Feel Better has helped more than 1 million women in the United States reclaim their sense of control, confidence and self-esteem while undergoing cancer treatments.
Tolin is a longtime supporter of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation, serving on the board of the Personal Care Products Council for the last ten years. While serving on the board, Tolin has increased Lubrizol’s level of support for the program.
“The charitable element of Look Good Feel Better fits naturally into the core values of Lubrizol,” said Tolin. “We aim to engage with charitable projects where we can make a direct and immediate impact on those involved. Being able to play a small part in creating the ingredients that go into the beauty products that help people improve their self-esteem and quality of life is a beautiful thing.”
The virtual event was free to the public. To learn more about the event and the Look Good Feel Better organization, click here.
