Myflam™ 8223 has been designed as a very high performance compound for back-coating fabrics to meet contract regulations for FR performance and where DecaBDE (CAS 1163-19-5) also referred to as DBDPO is not acceptable. When the compound is correctly applied using a crushed foam technique, the fabric is typically capable of achieving: BS 7176 1995 Medium hazard Part 1 (1979) - Ignition Source 5 (Also known as Crib 5). Recommended application is a stable crushed foam technique at a minimum dry weight of 120gsm dependent upon the fibre type and construction being used.
