Stiff, self-crosslinking, carboxylated, hydrophobic acrylic latex

Hycar^® 26459 is a carboxylated self-crosslinking acrylic co-polymer. Hycar 26459 is a stiff, highly hydrophobic polymer designed for water resistant products. With Hycar 26459 the higher the curing temperature the higher the water resistance. Hycar 26459 is useful as a stiff binder by itself or in combinations with other polymers as a blending resin to increase stiffness and to reduce the tack. Hycar 26459 can be cross-linked with external cross linkers or with other self-cross-linking emulsions.
